Editor’s Note

Hi everyone, welcome to the first edition of our new look 2016 Paitim TalkTok Newsletter. We bring you information about the work of the CIMC spreading over the last five months.

Due to the tough economic situation experienced in the country, the CIMC Secretariat has not been able to carry out most of its planned annual activities including the National and Regional Development Forums. What is provided here encompasses some of the events and activities carried out by the CIMC entailing Sectoral Committee meetings and a district accountability survey in four provinces in the country.

Information on some work done by the Sectoral Committees and their views on the implementation on certain policy legislation are also brought forward for your benefit. More information will be provided in the next issue should the economic climate in the country improve and the CIMC is able to carry out some planned activities in the coming months.

We hope you will appreciate the information contained in this Paitim Talktok issue and look forward to bringing to you more updates in the issues following this.
