Editor’s Note

Hi everyone, welcome to the first edition of our 2017 Paitim TalkTok Newsletter. The CIMC has had a very hectic schedule in the first half of the year and was not able to bring to you information about the events and work of the CIMC during the first quarter.

However this issue covers events for both quarters of the first six months of 2017 about new and continued work of the CIMC Secretariat, particularly the Regional Development Forums in the four regions of the country and the work undertaken by some of the nine CIMC Sectoral Committees.

The CIMC is pleased to inform you that the four Regional Development Forums have been successfully completed and the National Development Forum will be held later this month (June).

Much of the forums’ events have been captured in this newsletter and we hope you will embrace the continued work of the CIMC and the intensions of the Development Forums undertaken.

You can also read about some work done by the CIMC Sectoral Committees and their views on the implementation on certain sectoral policy and legislation and how such affects the smooth implementation of certain government policies.
