CIMC takes part in ADB PNG Resident Mission’s Yumi Wok – Bung Wantaim Dei         

CIMC was part of a Civil Society Partnership Days event or Yumi Wok-Bung Wantaim Dei hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Papua New Guinea Resident Mission and organized with ADB’s NGO and Civil Society Centre.

CIMC was represented by Mr Chan Apakas, Coordinator of the Civil Society Coordination and Partnership desk. Mr Apakas participated in the two – day event   and contributed to the discussions and was part of the panel on the first day.

Held from October 21 – 22, 2025 the event is directly tied to the ADB;s Civil Society Approach 2025-2030 and broughttogether ADB, government and Civil Society Organizations to explore opportunities to strengthen knowledge sharing and collaboration.

The PNG Civil Society Partnership Days was facilitated through a mix of presentations, panel discussions, breakout groups and interactive Q&A forums where there was active participation and open dialogue. The participants also gained practical insights into ADB’s operations, procurement systems and civil society approach.
