About this Document
The Government has endorsed the 20 Year Roadmap under the NEC Decision.
This Roadmap is intended to guide and mobilise a broad coalition of actors essential to national development. It
calls on political leaders to endorse its strategic direction and provide the mandate for implementation. It provides a
framework for Ministers, civil servants, delivery agencies, and development partners to translate high-level priorities
into coordinated action. It offers civil society organisations and citizens a basis for monitoring progress and holding
institutions accountable. It also invites research institutions and international partners to contribute evidence, analysis,
and technical expertise to strengthen implementation and inform future reforms.
We are proud to share that the Consultative Implementation and Monitoring Council, National Research Institute, Development Partners, Australian National University including Papua New Guinea’s academic elites and development specialists were part of the National Steering Committee involved in the 50 Review and the Drafting of the 20-Year Roadmap.
